We are looking for a funeral consultant in a 100% permanent position.
Our customers are in a life situation where they have to plan and hold a dignified farewell for one of their loved ones. We will meet them with respect and understanding, and provide security in a demanding life situation; security that we will help them and take care of all the practicalities from the death to the funeral. We are looking for you who have a genuine desire to help others. With us, no two days are the same, so you must thrive in a sometimes hectic work environment.
Job duties
Guide and support relatives in planning funerals and memorial services.
Coordination work: documentation, public agencies, necessary orders from church councils/religious communities, musicians, florists, master of ceremonies, etc.
Conducting funeral ceremonies.
Participate in the agency's 24-hour on-call service, including a pick-up service in the event of a death.
Carry out care and collection of the dead.
Car wash/maintenance
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
Be welcoming, empathetic, respectful and able to remain calm in sometimes stressful work situations. Good ability to collaborate, solution-oriented and practical. Patient, accurate and trust-building.
Qualifications
Good collaboration skills
Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian.
Confidentiality with data use
Good physique for heavy lifting
Driving license class B
